Itinerary Details

Day 1

Buenos Aires

Arrival and reception at the airport; transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Afterwards, city tour visiting the most interesting places in Buenos Aires city: Mayo Square, the Government House, the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colon Theatre, La Boca, Palermo, La
Recoleta neighborhood and the Planetarium. Return to the hotel.
 

Day 2

Buenos Aires

Day at leisure to enjoy and optional tour and know Buenos Aires even more, enjoying cooking classes,
tango lessons, museums, etc.

Day 3

Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn

Arrival and reception at the Trelew airport. Depature towards Punta Tombo reserves, the largest colony of Magellanic penguins Rockery in the continent.


Distance: 284 km (176 miles).
Travel time: 6 hours

Day 4

Puerto Madryn

Full day in Península Valdés, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its geography, flora and fauna. Departure from Puerto Madryn towards Puerto Pirámide. Here, from July to November, it is possible to do Meetings the whales (optional). Visit Punta Delgada Light-house and Caleta Valdés (Valdes Cove). Return to Puerto Madryn.

Day 5

Puerto Madryn / Comodoro Rivadavia

Morning departure to Comodoro Rivadavia. Arrival and free time to explore the city. If time allows we suggest you visit Punta del Márquez, a protected natural area where you can observe a sea lions Colony.


Distance: 427 km (265 miles).
Travel time: 7 hours

Day 6

Comodoro Rivadavia / Puerto Deseado

In the morning, drive to Puerto Deseado. Arrival and accommodation. In the afternoon, navigation on the Deseado estuary. During this tour, you will discover the high concentration of marine fauna which is in the Deseado Estuary Natural Reserve, that many experts call it the Galapagos of the Patagonia. Return to hotel.

Day 7

Puerto Deseado

Today we dedicate the day to navigate to Penguin Island. The island was declared a Marine Park for being one of the sites of greatest marine biodiversity in Patagonia. When landing on the island start walking through a crossroad of rocks between Magellanic penguins. During the tour, we will also contemplate close, the only colony of Rockhopper penguins (yellow crest) accessible throughout the Patagonian coast. Lunch
and return to the city. Accommodation at hotel.

Day 8

Puerto Deseado / Petrified Forest Jaramillo / Puerto San Julin

Departure to Puerto San Julian. On the way, we will visit the Petrified Forest Jaramillo. The site is Considered one of the Most Important fossil sites of the country, because it has the largest petrified trees
in the world. Due to of Its Importance was declarated National Natural Monument. We continue to Puerto San Julian.


Distance: 484 km (300 miles).
Travel time: 8-9 hours

Day 9

Puerto San Julin / Monte Len

Departure to the Natural Reserve Monte León. Accommodation at Hosteria Monte León. We continue to explore the park. This is the first Marine National Park in Argentina and the first continental National Park with sea coast in the country. During the visit you can walk around the different paths that allow you to appreciate the special feature of the geo-shape of the site that resembles a lion or a sphinx and fauna of the place.

Day 10

Monte Len / El Calafate

In the morning departure to Calafate. Arrival and accommodation.

Distance: 450 km (279 miles).
Travel time: 6 hours

Day 11

El Calafate

Day at leisure. Do not miss the opportunity to sail among icebergs or enjoy the ancient landscape of Chalten or Torres del Paine. Choose your optional Tours.

Day 12

El Calafate / Buenos Aires

Visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, within Los Glaciares National Park. Because of its beauty, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour, you can take the Nautical Safari (optional)
and get a different view of the glacier. Return to board the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 13

Buenos Aires

At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight.
